Former Minister’s Son-In-Law Arrested at a “Rave Party’ in Pune

Pune: Pune Crime Branch teams raided a rave party at the luxurious guest house Stay Bird in Kharadi on Sunday morning. A large quantity of drugs, liquor, and hookah were seized in this operation.
Seven people, including two young women, were detained. However, three young women fled taking advantage of the darkness, and the police are searching for them.
The police have taken 5 men and 2 women into custody in this operation. Former minister Eknath Khadse’s son-in-law Pranjal Khewalkar has also been found among those detained.
Pranjal Khewalkar is the husband of Rohini Khadse, the state women president of the Nationalist Congress Party Sharad Pawar. This has led to a stir in the political circles of Maharashtra.
The Crime Branch of Pune Police had received confidential information about a rave party going on in a flat in an elite society in Kharadi. Based on this information, the police laid a trap and raided the flat at around 3:30 am.
