Satara: Shivraj More from Karad has been appointed as the president of the Maharashtra Pradesh Youth Congress, following instructions from Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge and Lok Sabha opposition leader Rahul Gandhi. This strategic move aims to bolster the party’s youth wing. More has a strong organizational background, having served as state president of the Student Congress twice and being elected as general secretary and vice-president of the Youth Congress. He secured the second-highest number of votes in the state Youth Congress elections held three years ago.
As the newly appointed president, More’s focus will be on expanding the party’s presence across Maharashtra, taking the Congress party’s work to villages, and strengthening party organization. He also aims to empower youth workers, giving strength to general workers of the Youth Congress across the state. More expressed his commitment to working tirelessly for the party, believing in the trust placed in him by the Congress leadership.
With this appointment, the party expects to see a renewed vigor in its youth wing, driven by More’s organizational skills and dedication. More stated that the Congress party has once again shown great faith in him and he will work to strengthen the party’s youth wing across the state, taking its work to the villages and focusing on party organization.
