Mumbai – The state of Maharashtra is successfully moving towards a 1 trillion economy due to its industrial sectors. Therefore, all facilities such as water supply, electricity, roads and connectivity, environmental clearances, forest clearances, labour laws, land allotment should be provided to the industries immediately. Businesses should get all the permissions online, for this the Maitri portal should be integrated and all the permissions should be given on it. At the same time, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis gave clear instructions to the entrepreneurs to create an anonymous complaint facility if they have any problems with the government departments.
The Chief Minister chaired a meeting on various issues related to Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) at Sahyadri Guest House today. Environment Secretary Jayashree Bhoj, Chief Executive Officer of MIDC P Velarasu, Development Commissioner Deependra Singh Kushwaha and other senior officials of the department were also present.
Chief Minister Mr. Fadnavis said that the Water Resources Department should provide water to the industries as per their demand. Construction of power substations at Majalgaon, Dighi, Butibori, Chamorshi (Gadchiroli), Jaipur (Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar) and PM Mitra (Amravati) should be given first priority. Separate arrangements should be made for industries as they face problems in power transmission and maintenance. All the permissions of the Environment Department should be made available online on the Maitri portal. Similarly, the Public Works Department should connect Shedra Bidkin Marg to Samruddhi Highway. Chief Minister Mr. Fadnavis instructed to immediately make road connectivity in the area as new industries have given more preference in Butibori.
Industries in the state should get Consent to Establish and Consent to Operate permits on time, the Chief Minister said, adding that unnecessary permissions required by industries should be stopped. Uninvited inspections by industry representatives should be stopped. Since there are different decisions and circulars regarding giving land to industries, they should be revised and consolidated. The Chief Minister also instructed that separate working procedures should be fixed for the workers working in the industries.
Chief Minister Mr. Fadnavis said that the area where MIDCs are located in Maharashtra should be given the status of an industrial city. Giving the status of industrial city will solve the problem of double taxation. He also suggested that the eligibility certificates to be issued to the industries should be issued online.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister took detailed information about the acquisition of land of Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation as well as the ongoing and proposed land acquisition for various industrial projects.
