⭕ Minor Girl’s Death Shocks Dhule District
Dhule: A pall of grief has descended on Sakri taluka after the sudden death of a 9-year-old girl inside the hostel of Devlipada Ashram School. The deceased, identified as Manjula Raju Pawar, was a Class 3 student from Machhmal village who stayed in the school’s residential facility. Her death in sleep has left the community in deep shock.
⭕ Girl Found Unresponsive in Hostel Room
According to hostel authorities, the night of September 10 appeared normal, with routine checks conducted by the female superintendent. However, the next morning, staff found Manjula unresponsive in her bed. Despite immediate efforts, she showed no signs of movement and was rushed to Tembe Primary Health Centre, later referred to Pimpalner Rural Hospital. Doctors declared her dead at 7:55 am.
⭕ Cause of Death Under Investigation

The body has been sent to Dhule Civil Hospital for postmortem to ascertain the exact cause of death. Police at Pimpalner station have registered a case of Accidental Death (AD) and initiated further investigation. Meanwhile, the incident has sparked widespread concern among parents and locals over the safety and monitoring systems in Ashram school hostels.
