Pune: A devastating fire broke out in a tempo traveler in Phase One of Hinjewadi area, Pune, on Wednesday morning, resulting in the tragic loss of four lives. The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, with many questioning how the passengers became trapped inside the vehicle.

Tempo Traveler Catches Fire, 4 Dead

The tempo traveler bus (MH 14 CW 3548), belonging to Vyoma Graphics Company, suddenly caught fire on Phase One Road within the limits of Hinjewadi Police Station. Of the 12 passengers on board, 8 managed to escape safely, while four people remained trapped inside the bus and succumbed to their injuries.

Investigation Underway

The cause of the fire is still unknown, but the police are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident. The injured passengers have been rushed to Ruby Hall Clinic Hospital for treatment.

Eyewitness Accounts

Eyewitnesses claim that the fire broke out suddenly, and the passengers were unable to escape due to the tempo traveler’s design. “It was a tempo travel bus, and it was not possible for everyone to get out together,” said an eyewitness. “As a result, 8 people managed to get out, but four people were trapped inside the bus.”

The police have launched an investigation into the incident and are working to determine the cause of the fire. “We are investigating the matter, and we will take necessary action once we determine the cause of the fire,” said a police spokesperson.

Safety Concerns Raised
