In the case of the attack on actor Saif Ali Khan, up to 40 individuals were questioned and recorded, including Saif Ali Khan’s family. However, the police were not able to locate the attacker due to a lack of technical resources. He was found via many CCTV cameras, but because he kept shifting his location, police were unable to finish their research. Everyone’s eyes on motive behind attack
Following the arrest of the attacker, the Mumbai Crime Branch will be tasked with investigating the motives behind the incident. The statements recorded in this regard will have to determine the direction of the investigation, including Saif Ali Khan’s son’s statements that the attacker sought Rs 1 crore. This might suggest whether the actor was attacked for money, and it will also be essential to determine whether there was an attempt to kill Saif Ali Khan according to the way in which the attacker inflicted knife wounds.
