Join Hands Across Party Lines to Protect Marathi Identity

By : Munir Shaikh

Ratnagiri: MNS leader Vaibhav Khedekar has extended an appeal to all Marathi leaders across party lines to join the protest against the imposition of Hindi in Maharashtra. He urged leaders from various parties to put aside their differences and come together to support the cause of preserving Marathi language and culture. Khedekar emphasized that the protest is a call to action for all those who value the Marathi identity and want to protect it from the imposition of Hindi.

The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) is set to launch a march on July 5 to protest against the imposition of Hindi language in the state. The party has been vocal about its opposition to the increasing use of Hindi in various spheres of life in Maharashtra. The MNS has been critical of the government’s efforts to promote Hindi at the expense of Marathi, the official language of the state.

The MNS is demanding that the government take steps to protect the rights of Marathi-speaking people and ensure that the language is given its due importance in the state. The party is also opposing the imposition of Hindi in educational institutions, government offices, and other public spaces. The march is expected to draw a large number of participants, including MNS workers, supporters, and Marathi-speaking citizens.
