⭕ Campaign Announcement
Dhule: To uplift the standard of living in rural areas, the Government of Maharashtra will launch the Chief Minister’s Samruddha Panchayat Raj Abhiyan from September 17, 2025. The details were shared by Dhule Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Aziz Shaikh, during a press conference held at the Zilla Parishad office.
⭕ Aim and Implementation

Mr. Shaikh explained that the campaign seeks to ensure effective and speedy implementation of various development schemes run by the Rural Development Department and other government agencies. The goal is to deliver benefits directly to the last citizen in the villages, thereby improving the overall quality of life in rural Maharashtra.
⭕ Strengthening Local Self-Governance
From the financial year 2025–26, Gram Panchayats, Panchayat Samitis, and Zilla Parishads will be evaluated based on their performance. The best-performing bodies will be rewarded at the taluka, district, revenue division, and state levels, encouraging efficiency and accountability. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will also interact with Gram Panchayats through an online system on the launch day. Special Gram Sabhas will be conducted in every village on September 17 to mark the beginning of the campaign.
⭕ Key Focus Areas
The campaign will continue until December 31, 2025 and will emphasize good governance, financial empowerment of Panchayats through CSR and community participation, creation of water-rich and green villages, convergence of MGNREGA with other schemes, strengthening of village-level institutions, livelihood development, social justice, and voluntary community participation. Performance during this period will be assessed, and awards will be presented to outstanding Gram Panchayats and local bodies.
⭕ Public Awareness and Participation
To create awareness and encourage involvement, a range of activities such as workshops, morning rallies, cultural programs, and tree plantation drives will be organized at the village level. Mr. Shaikh underlined that the combined efforts of government agencies and citizens would be vital for the success of the initiative.
⭕ Nutrition Month Announcement
During the press conference, Deputy CEO (Women and Child Welfare) Mr. Ajay Fadol announced that the 8th National Nutrition Month will be observed from September 17 to October 16, 2025. Several nutrition-related activities and awareness drives will be carried out under this program.

The press conference was also attended by Additional CEO Mr. Rajesh Ingle, Deputy CEOs Mr. Mahesh Patil and Mrs. Sneha Pawar, District Health Officer Dr. Sachin Bodke, and Assistant Group Development Officer Mr. Nitin Khanderay, among others.
