Mumbai : To maintain the sanctity of the famous Siddhivinayak Temple, the temple trust has implemented a new dress code for devotees. The newly implemented rules stipulate that devotees will have to follow the dress code to gain entry into the temple, failing which they will be denied entry. The four-day Ganesh Jayanti festival is being celebrated starting from February 1. As part of this festival, a special havan will be performed on February 4, in which devotees are expected to gather in large numbers. The temple trust plans to implement the new dress code rules from this festival. Temple trust stressed that the step has been taken to preserve the spiritual atmosphere of the temple and instill a sense of faith among devotees.
