Siddhivinayak Temple Trust has announced a dress code for devotees

Mumbai : To maintain the sanctity of the famous Siddhivinayak Temple, the temple trust has implemented a new dress code for devotees. The newly implemented rules stipulate that devotees will have to follow the dress code to gain entry into the temple, failing which they will be denied entry. The four-day Ganesh Jayanti festival is being celebrated starting from February 1. As part of this festival, a special havan will be performed on February 4, in which devotees are expected to gather in large numbers. The temple trust plans to implement the new dress code rules from this festival. Temple trust stressed that the step has been taken to preserve the spiritual atmosphere of the temple and instill a sense of faith among devotees. Siddhivinayak Temple is one of the prestigious temples in Mumbai, which attracts lakhs of devotees every year. The implementation of the dress code rules is being considered a positive step to maintain the sanctity of the temple and maintain a sense of spirituality among devotees.

Siddhivinayak Temple Trust’s decision welcomed by devotees

In response to growing concerns about disrespectful behavior of devotees, Siddhivinayak Temple Trust has implemented a dress code for devotees. The trust has taken this decision after numerous complaints that some devotees are wearing “shameful and torn clothes.”. Siddhivinayak Temple is visited by thousands of devotees from Maharashtra and India every day. To maintain the sanctity and spiritual atmosphere of the temple, the trust has implemented a dress code, which is especially applicable in some temples in South India. Devotees, while welcoming the decision, have said that it is necessary to respect and follow the culture while visiting the holy place. Devotees are also looking at the trust’s decision as a positive step towards instilling a sense of faith and spirituality. By implementing the dress code, the Siddhivinayak Temple Trust aims to ensure that the temple remains a sacred place of worship and contemplation, where devotees can have darshan with a sense of respect and devotion.

Dress code for devotees: a step towards maintaining sanctity

To preserve the sacred and religious atmosphere of the Siddhivinayak temple, the trust has implemented a new dress code rule for devotees. As per the rules, devotees are expected to wear appropriate and respectful clothes that are in keeping with Indian culture and the spiritual atmosphere of the temple. They are not allowed to wear clothes that are obscene or disrespectful.
