Mumbai: The Maharashtra government’s Ministry of Skill, Employment, and Entrepreneurship declared today that private companies must provide vacant jobs details to the government. A new amendment bill will be introduced to deal with this.This step will discourage unemployed youths from engaging in financial fraud, allowing them to apply for jobs in the appropriate post and the company. State government is planning to alter the Employment Regulation Act 1959 to include this new regulation in the Social Security Code 2020. An action plan has been announced for the next 100 days this is considered a significant shift in the employment regulation process.This upcoming bill has attracted the attention of private companies as well as educated unemployed youths.
State government and companies to Join Hands for crackdown on fake job placement agencies
Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Minister of Skill, Employment, and Entrepreneurship, has raised concern about the currently closed employment offices, stating that they must be revived. To ensure that employment offices operate effortlessly and effectively, companies should submit information about their vacancies. He also expressed hope that educated, unemployed youths will benefit from the fact that jobs will be made available through the state government’s employment department if the vacancy’s veracity is verified. Currently, there is a large-scale business of job placement agencies in the state. Every day, cases of many educated unemployed youths being defrauded in the state are reported. He expressed confidence that such illicit activity may be reduced by direct collaboration between private companies and the state government.
Big Relief for Unemployed Youths
Since a timeframe of 100 days has been set for the provision of this new bill, it is highly likely that it will be adopted within the next four months. Minister mangal Prabhat Lodha said that the department’s administrative officials should focus on how to strengthen the Social Security Code Act by including numerous new revisions into the new bill. Also, administrative officers must consider how the government will control some registered employment placements with the state government under this new bill. Mangal Prabhat Lodha has this ministry in the new Devendra Fadnavis cabinet and has infinite administrative experience. the Social Security Code Act will soon be enhanced in the state, lowering the state’s unemployment rate.
