Sensitive Citizens Must Come Forward to Save the Nation

Mumbai – Former Deputy Mayor of Mumbai, Babubhai Bhavanji, has said that corruption and the illegal drug trade are hollowing out the nation and society from within. He stated that if India is to be saved, corruption and the drug trade must be eradicated from their roots.
In a statement issued today, Bhavanji said that no work gets done in government offices without paying a bribe. He alleged that many government officials behave as though they are rulers from the colonial era. The grievances of ordinary citizens are ignored, and efforts are being made to suppress their voices. People are unable to even hold peaceful protests against corruption. Citizens are deeply troubled by corruption, while public representatives remain silent because, according to him, even they are not heard.
He further stated that no work is carried out without financial transactions. Every government desk has an unofficial “MRP” fixed for every service. Unless money is paid, files do not move forward, resulting in unnecessary delays. The cost of corruption ultimately falls on ordinary people and contributes to rising inflation. While common citizens continue to suffer due to increasing prices, the government remains a mere spectator.
Bhavanji said that corruption is the root cause of inflation. Therefore, to build a corruption-free India, the people must unite and launch a collective struggle. He appealed to citizens to rise above political affiliations and organize a nationwide movement against corruption. “This is a fight to save our country. Only by standing together and eliminating corruption can we safeguard India’s future,” he said.
He added that wealthy people can get their work done by paying money, but those who cannot afford to pay are left without justice or assistance.
Bhavanji further announced that under the leadership of Mr. Chandra Kumar Bose grandson of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose the Azad Hind Front is being formed. Through this organization, a decisive campaign will be launched against corruption and the illegal drug trade.
He appealed to all sensitive and responsible citizens to join the organization, contribute towards eliminating corruption, and help build the India envisioned by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. He also urged people to participate in the Corruption-Free India social movement through their mobile phones and actively contribute to the mission of saving the nation.
