Latur: Maharashtra’s Public Works Minister Shivendraraje Bhosle addressed the media on the Pahalgam terror attack and caste census, expressing confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ability to handle Pakistan. He stated that PM Modi is fully capable of teaching Pakistan a lesson, emphasizing the government’s commitment to national security and its ability to respond to threats from across the border.
Minister Bhosle criticized political parties for trying to take credit for the caste census, specifically targeting Congress for claiming ownership of PM Modi’s decisions. This, he said, was a blatant attempt to politicize the issue, highlighting the Congress party’s desperation to gain political mileage from every government initiative. By doing so, Congress is only revealing its lack of credibility and trust among the masses.
The Minister questioned Congress’s credibility, stating that people are aware of their current state. He emphasized that Congress’s claims were unfounded and lacked substance, given their track record. The people of India have seen through Congress’s tactics and are no longer swayed by their empty promises and rhetoric. It’s time for Congress to introspect and redefine its strategy rather than trying to hijack the government’s initiatives.
Minister Shivendra Raje Bhosle emphasized that the priority should be to ensure justice for the victims of the Pahalgam attack rather than demanding resignations. He highlighted the need to focus on bringing those responsible for the attack to justice, rather than engaging in political posturing. The nation demands action and results, not political grandstanding. The government must take all necessary steps to ensure that justice is served and that such incidents do not recur in the future.
