Mumbai: The State Government has announced a 150-day programme from May 6, 2025, to October 2, 2025, following the successful implementation of a 100-day programme. The initiative includes creating a vision document for Developed Maharashtra-2047, outlining long-term, medium-term, and short-term goals.

16 sector-wise groups have been formed to draft the vision document. Four key pillars have been identified for regional balanced development: progressive, sustainable, inclusive, and good governance. A state-wide citizen survey will be conducted from June 18, 2025, to July 17, 2025, to gather citizen views, expectations, and aspirations.

Citizens can participate in the survey through a QR code and link on the Government of Maharashtra’s website. Members are encouraged to appeal to citizens to participate through social media, fairs, and meetings. Feedback can be submitted through a WhatsApp chatbot using the QR code on the state government’s website.

The government aims to create a comprehensive vision document that reflects the aspirations and ideas of Maharashtra’s citizens, ensuring that the state’s development is aligned with the needs and expectations of its people. By engaging citizens in the vision-making process, the government seeks to foster a sense of ownership and collective responsibility, ultimately driving Maharashtra towards a more prosperous and sustainable future. This initiative is expected to bring about transformative changes, promoting balanced growth and development across the state.
