Mumbai Airport Accident: 5 Injured as Mercedes Loses Control

Mumbai : A shocking accident occurred at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport on Sunday midnight, leaving five people injured. The incident took place at Terminal 2, where a Mercedes car lost control while dropping off a passenger.
According to police, the driver, identified as Parshuram Dadanavre, mistakenly accelerated instead of braking after hitting a speed breaker at gate number one. The vehicle surged forward, injuring two foreign nationals and three airport crew members.
The injured individuals, including two people from the Republic of Kazakhstan, received immediate first aid from the airport’s medical team. Two foreign nationals are being treated at Nanavati Hospital, while the injured airport crew member is being treated at Cooper Hospital.
Police have seized the vehicle and registered a case against the driver. The incident is being further investigated, and an official statement has been issued. The airport authorities have assured that they are working with the police to ensure the safety of passengers and continuation of operations.
