Initative Launched
Mumbai: In a move to address the long-standing issues faced by local train passengers in Mumbai, Babubhai Bhawanji, former Deputy Mayor and senior BJP leader, has launched an initiative to improve the commuting experience.
Understanding Commuter Problems
The initiative, which aims to provide relief to millions of passengers who rely on the local train service daily, was announced after Bhawanji organized an interaction program with commuters to understand their problems. “We have been listening to the concerns of our citizens, and we are committed to finding solutions to make their daily commute safer and more convenient,” Bhawanji said.
Taking Action
The initiative includes a suggestion letter prepared by Bhawanji and his team from the Flora Foundation, which will be submitted to the Railway Minister. Passengers and citizens are also invited to send their suggestions to WhatsApp number 7977906143.
Enhancing Safety Measures
This move is part of the BJP’s efforts to prioritize safety and convenience in the Indian Railways. With the implementation of ‘Kavach,’ an automatic train protection system, and the deployment of Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel, the party aims to enhance safety measures and provide a better experience for passengers.
